The Lansdowne is a cosy hotel based in the centre of Norwich. It prides itself on being a friendly, well run hotel within 5 minutes’ walk of the railway station.
This good-value city centre hotel is only 5 minutes’ walk from Norwich City Football Ground and the Riverside complex, which offers several restaurants, a cinema and bars, plus a health club. The hotel is 4 miles from Norwich International Airport, with easy access to Norwich’s inner and outer ring roads and the southern bypass.
Lansdowne Hotel has a well-stocked bar, and sandwiches and toasted sandwiches are available in the early evening. There is free guest parking, a night porter, and conference and events facilities.

From 1 September the hotel will no longer be serving dinner. A wide selection of restaurants is available within 10 minutes’ walk of the hotel. Sandwiches and toasted sandwiches will be available in the hotel from 17.00 to 20.00 each evening.
Join the A47 Norwich Southern bypass and follow the signs for Norwich East, turn off at Trowse, turn left at 1st lights, turn right at 2nd lights onto Martineau Lane, at the roundabout take 1st left (after the County Hall entrance) onto Bracondale, turn right at lights onto King street, follow the road round, over the bridge, past football ground. At 1st lights turn right, at next lights go straight across and go over railway bridge onto the one way system, keep left over pelican crossing, through set of lights on left. Hotel is on the right. Arriving by train, turn right out of the station on to Thorpe Road, approximately 5 minutes walk up the hill, hotel is on the left hand side of the road.
