About the hotel

The Lansdowne Hotel is a cosy hotel based in the centre of Norwich. We pride ourselves on being a friendly well run hotel within a 5 minute walk of The Riverside.

Good value City Centre hotel, only 5 minutes walk from Norwich railway station, Norwich City Football ground and the Riverside Complex, which provides a range of entertainment including Norwichs' biggest nightclub, 14 screen multiplex cinema, ten pin bowling alley, restaurants & bars and health club. Only 4 miles from Norwich International Airport, with easy access to Norwich inner and outer ring roads and southern bypass. Our charming restaurant and lively bar offers great food and drink along with the perfect atmosphere to help you unwind. Night porter, free guest parking and Conferencing & Event facilities.

Please note bedrooms available New Years Eve, but the restaurant will be closed for dinner that night and breakfast New Years Day, so you can all have a good sleep in. The bar will be open.

Directions

Hotel Map

Join the A47 Norwich Southern bypass and follow the signs for Norwich East, turn off at Trowse, turn left at 1st lights, turn right at 2nd lights onto Martineau Lane, at the roundabout take 1st left (after the County Hall entrance) onto Bracondale, turn right at lights onto King street, follow the road round, over the bridge, past football ground. At 1st lights turn right, at next lights go straight across and go over railway bridge onto the one way system, keep left over pelican crossing, through set of lights on left. Hotel is on the right. Arriving by train, turn right out of the station on to Thorpe Road, approximately 5 minutes walk up the hill, hotel is on the left hand side of the road.
